This is the instruction for responding to client emails that state they are "ready to sign" after reviewing their tax documents if there were updates or changes required.
Log in to Asana using the Growth Group Admin account.
Search for the client's name using the search bar in the top right-hand corner of Asana.
Select the client's current project (not archived). For example, tax preparation projects to be processed in 2021 will be named "Jane Doe 2021 Tax Return.
Under the milestone "Task Revisions," the next task should be "Approve/Deny updates to tax return." This should be the only incomplete task remaining under this section.
Mark that task as completed if the email clearly states that the client is satisfied with the changes provided and they are ready to sign.
Mark the milestone completed as well since the section is completed.
Under the remaining milestone "Tax Filing," the next task should be "Send (client name) final return for signature."
Assign this task to Renee with a due date of one (1) business day. Alternatively, you can change the status of the task to "Please Prepare." This should automatically assign the task to Renee and populate the due date.
